Mobilise Cloud Academy
A free academy programme with 10 modules over 12 weeks
Are you looking for a dynamic and fulfilling career in the tech industry? Look no further than Mobilise’s Cloud Academy! A free academy programme that provides an entry point for all into the UK’s exciting tech sector.
We recognise that the tech industry is currently lacking representation from diverse backgrounds, with just 26% of tech roles held by women and 15.2% by people from black, Asian, or minority ethnic backgrounds. That’s why we’re launching a free 12-week training program for individuals from all lines of work to become certified solutions architects in Amazon Web Services.
As the Head of Cloud at Mobilise, Adam Davies, says, “Cloud computing has transformed the world as we know it – everything from Netflix to Instagram is powered by the cloud. Our people are excited by the challenges of rapidly delivering cloud transformation for our customers. We know we can only continue to enable ground-breaking developments and solve new world challenges if we welcome new perspectives from our diverse multi-talented teams.”
Our Cloud Academy is inspired by successful trainees who joined us from outside of the traditional cloud career path and are now lined up to be mentors of the new programme. Jamie Emery, for instance, undertook one of our initial programmes and is now calling for others to join him on this creative road to becoming an AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
If you’re willing to learn, we’re willing to train you! With our Cloud Academy, you’ll have access to AWS-certified training and support from our team of certified Cloud Architects. The programme will run for 12 weeks with an average of 10 hours per week training, followed by a final assessment.
