SeverlessDays are a family of events around the world focused on fostering community around serverless technologies. Each SeverlessDay is unique, organised by locals and not run for profit. Notably, ServerlessDays are an opportunity for developers, influencers and decision makers to come together and share their knowledge and expertise. As Steve O’Grady highlights in his book, The New Kingmakers, “developers are the driving force behind successful companies today, and the Serverless paradigm is enabling them to work more productively than ever before”.
Mobilise has been involved in ServerlessDays Cardiff, as organisers and a Gold sponsor, since its inception in 2019. We have seen the event grow into one of the most exciting and popular serverless events in the Southwest of England and Wales. We are excited to see what the 2023 event will bring, and we are confident that it will be bigger and better than ever before.
One of the highlights of being a Gold sponsor is the opportunity to showcase our brand prominently at the event. This gives us the opportunity to engage with attendees and showcase our products and services to a receptive audience.
We are also excited to be part of the workshops that will be running the day before the conference. In 2020, there was four free hands-on workshops, which were attended by 69 delegates. We plan to offer workshops again this year and will work with the organizers to source suitable venues that can accommodate underrepresented minorities.
The ServerlessDays Cardiff 2023 event will be held at the DEPOT in Cardiff, a fantastic venue that has become a popular destination for events in the city. The venue is easily accessible from the train station, and we are looking forward to enjoying the fantastic facilities that the DEPOT has to offer.
